Filipa Couture invited to Avenue’s Lingerie Show

Author I received an offline last week from Livia of Avenue Magazine/Models, offering me a much coveted spot in the upcoming Boudoir Summer show. When I asked her how she found me and what inspired the invitation, she told me she saw a notice an SL group notice, saw the word Lingerie and popped into the store in world. Once she arrived, she says she fell in love with the store, the layout and the atmosphere. From there, the designs and their quality really caught her eye. 
So, there you have it friends, Filipa Couture Lingerie will be caressing the pixelflesh of the Avenue Models, along with other amazing Lingerie designers such as Blacklace, on July 10th. Please stay tuned for more information from me, and from Avenue on this amazing event.

A Free RiFi Outfit for the Out And About in a RiFi Contest!!!
Had a wonderful chat with StarWalker’s in group in game the other day and they made a suggestion that I took to heart!!!
In the store, by the entrance, there is a random FREE RiFi Outfit that you can pick up to use for your “Out And About in a RiFi” contest photo entry. I’ll switch the outfit up every other month, (maybe each month, I haven’t decided yet 
.
So pop on in, join the RiFi Emporium Costumers!!! group, get the free outfit, grab the entry info from the board, get’cher pic’s taken and submit before Sept. 30th to be in the running!!!

Starwalkers & M/M Personality – Filipa's Thoughts
RiFi is asked to create the M/M Personality of the Year Contest Logo
Ok, well, the group voting didn’t come up with my StarWalkers logo as the winner … grats to the winner (can be seen on the blog now). Anyway, Pat liked my entry so much, she contacted me and asked me to create something for the new contest she’s creating, Mr. & Mrs. Personality of the Year.
Since we’re dealing with “personality” and because you said (Pat) that you liked the idea of the happy sad face masks, I created this logo (again, square for the group icon needs) for the 2009 Mr/Ms Personality contest.
I incorporated the chosen/official StarWalkers logo as “brought to you by” as this is a StarWalkers event as i understand it, AND because as I mentioned, I believe branding is very important (the contest is like a product of the company, StarWalkers being “the company”).
The lens flairs and colors were chosen to show excitement, the element of photography (for modeling) and a “shining personality that belongs on stage or in front of the camera”. The theatre masks also help with this concept.
